Abstract

Das System zur Füllstandsmessung eines Flüssigkeitsbehälter, insbesondere für den Kraftstofftank (2) eines Kraftfahrzeugs, weist einen Schwingungserzeuger (6, 10, 13) und einen Schwingungssensor (11) auf. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass der Schwingungserzeuger (10) in der Frequenz regelbar ist und Schwingungserzeuger (10) und Schwingungssensor (11) in einem Frequenzbereich arbeiten, der Körper- oder Luftresonanzfrequenzen des Flüssigkeitsbehälters und/oder des Systems oder dessen Teilen für die möglichen Füllstände des Flüssigkeitsbehälters umfasst.
