Abstract

L'invention concerne un système destiné à la mesure du niveau de remplissage d'un contenant rempli d'un liquide, notamment destiné au réservoir d'essence (2) d'un véhicule automobile. Ce système comprend un générateur de vibrations (6, 10, 13) et un détecteur de vibrations (11). Selon l'invention, le générateur d'oscillations (10) est réglable en fréquence. Le générateur de vibrations (10) et le détecteur de vibrations (11) fonctionnent dans une plage de fréquences comportant les fréquences de résonance du corps ou de l'air du contenant de liquide et/ou du système ou de ses parties pour les niveaux possibles du contenant de liquide.
