Abstract

L'invention concerne un poste de saisie servant à créer des documents d'identification. Ce poste comprend un logement pourvu d'une caméra et d'un dispositif d'éclairage, une base, et au moins un pied s'étendant à partir de la base. Le logement est monté sur le pied de sorte à permettre un réglage en hauteur de la caméra. Une configuration dudit poste de saisie comprend deux pieds parallèles sensiblement rigides, le logement étant monté entre les pieds. D'autres configurations du poste de saisie peuvent comprendre un processeur, tel qu'une unité centrale ou une unité de commande intégrée, permettant l'exécution de fonctions de saisie de données d'identification à l'intérieur du poste de saisie, ainsi que la commande desdites fonctions par l'intermédiaire d'une connexion réseau au moyen d'un ordinateur à distance. Dans un mode de réalisation, le processeur est disposé à l'intérieur de la base et il communique avec la caméra par l'intermédiaire d'un câblage courant à l'intérieur du pied. Les périphériques utilisés dans les fonctions de saisie, tels qu'un lecteur d'empreintes digitales, une tablette de signature, un écran, etc., peuvent être montés sur le pied au moyen de pinces, ou d'une prise de courant dotée de câblages d'alimentation et de communication disposés dans le pied.
