Abstract

La présente invention concerne une plaquette de coupe comprenant une forme de base rectangulaire allongée, une face avant rectangulaire (3), une ligne médiane imaginaire (9) qui sépare la face avant (3) en deux moitiés, au moins une lame (31, 35) et une rainure de serrage (15) présentant au moins une surface de serrage (17, 19). Cette plaquette de coupe (1) est caractérisée en ce que l'axe médian (21) de la rainure de serrage (15) est incliné d'un angle ALFA de 10° par rapport à la ligne médiane (9), en ce que la surface de serrage (17, 19) et la face avant (3) forment un angle GAMMA de 20° à 30°, de préférence de 23° à 27°, notamment environ 25°, en ce que le centre (23) de l'axe médian (21) de la rainure de serrage (15) et le centre de la ligne médiane (9) de la plaquette de coupe (1) coïncident et en ce que la rainure de serrage (15) présente une symétrie ponctuelle avec le centre (23) de la ligne médiane (9). La présente invention concerne également un alésoir comprenant un dispositif d'ajustage (45) qui permet de régler la projection d'une lame (35, 31) d'une plaquette de coupe (1) sur les barres de guidage (75, 77) de l'alésoir (10). Le dispositif d'ajustage blocable (45) de l'alésoir (10) présente seulement une vis de réglage (55) qui agit directement ou par l'intermédiaire d'un coin d'ajustage (57) sur une première extrémité de la plaquette de coupe (1), alors que la seconde extrémité de la plaquette de coupe (1) repose immédiatement sur la base (65) de la rainure (64).
