Abstract

La présente invention concerne un alliage titane-aluminium composé de titane, d'aluminium et de niobium, la teneur en aluminium de cet alliage étant comprise entre 35 et 60 % en poids. Cet alliage peut également contenir 1-100 ppm de chlore et/ou de fluor ainsi que 0,01-1,0 % en poids d'or et/ou d'argent. Ladite invention concerne en outre un élément de construction léger constitué d'un alliage titane-aluminium et l'utilisation d'un alliage titane-aluminium dans la production d'un produit de départ homogène, à grain fin, par un procédé de moulage par centrifugation.
