Abstract

Es wird unter anderem eine variable Blende für eine Beleuchtungseinrichtung und/oder für eine Beobachtungseinrichtung innerhalb eines optischen Beobachtungsgeräts zur Abbildung eines Objekts und/oder eines von einem Objekt erzeugten Zwischenbildes, insbesondere für ein stereoskopisches Beobachtungsgerät, beschrieben, wobei die variable Blende für wenigstens einen Strahlengang der Beleuchtungseinrichtung und/oder für einen Strahlengang der Beobachtungseinrichtung vorgesehen ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist die variable Blende zur Erzeugung einer bestimmten Beleuchtungsgeometrie bereichsweise ansteuerbar. Weiterhin ist die variable Blende zur Nutzung von allen Polarisationsrichtungen des Lichts einer Lichtquelle ausgebildet. Weiterhin werden auch eine Beleuchtungseinrichtung, eine optische Beobachtungseinrichtung sowie ein optisches Beobachtungsgerät beschrieben.
