Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Wärmebehandlung eines Metallbandes vor einer metallischen Beschichtung beschrieben, wobei das Metallband in einer reduzierenden, wasserstoffhaltigen Schutzgasatmosphäre geglüht wird. Um die Benetzbarkeit des Metallbandes zu verbessern, wird vorgeschlagen, daß das Metallband in einer Schutzgasatmosphäre mit einem Volumensverhältnis von Wasserstoff zu Wasserdampf von wenigstens 4000 geglüht wird.
