The other end of the pin is inserted into the blow nozzle of the blow molding equipment. A tube of parasin is dropped over the foam/pin. Mold plates close around foam and parasin. Air is blown up and around foam and pin, pushing the parsin into the cavities of the mold. Component is pulled from the mold. Pin is removed. Components are die cut from flashing. Blow holes in blow molded plastic are high frequency welded shut.

Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un empiècement pour chaussure, qui comprend : un coeur compressible, lequel comporte une surface supérieure, une surface inférieure et une surface périphérique ; et un logement entourant ledit coeur compressible, ledit logement étant adjacent, en ajustement serré, avec lesdites surfaces supérieure et inférieure, et étant espacé d'au moins une partie de ladite surface périphérique. Ledit logement présente une première compressibilité lorsqu'il se trouve en ajustement serré avec lesdites surfaces supérieure et inférieure, et une seconde compressibilité lorsqu'il est espacé de ladite surface périphérique, la seconde compressibilité étant supérieure à la première compressibilité. Grâce à sa structure, lorsque des parties de l'empiècement sont exposées le long des côtés de la chaussure, ce dernier présente une pliabilité satisfaisante au niveau du pouce.
