Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Massedurchflusses eines Coriolis-Massedurchflussmessers wird eine Schwingung eines Messrohrs mit der Frequenz f erzeugt und die resultierende Schwingungsbewegung an zwei unterschiedlichen Messstellen mit zwei Schwingungssensoren erfasst. Die analogen Sensorsignale X17, X18 der beiden Schwingungssensoren werden in digitale Sensorsignale S1 und S2 umgewandelt und in einem digitalen Signalprozessor DSP weiterverarbeitet. Im Signalprozessor DSP wird aus den beiden Sensorsignalen S1 und S2 das Summensignal Σ und das Differenzsignal Δ gebildet. Anschließend erfolgt eine Drehung des Summensignals um 90º. In einem weiteren Verfahrensschritt wird das verschobene Summensignal mit dem Differenzsignal Δ multipliziert. Nach der Bestimmung der Amplitude des Summensignals Σ wird der Massedurchfluss gemäß der Formel m ~¦Im(Δ)¦/ ( ¦Σ¦ f ) bestimmt. Für das Verfahren ist es nicht notwendig, dass die beiden Sensorsignale S1, S2 gleiche Amplituden besitzen. Eine Regelung auf gleiche Amplitude der analogen Signale X17, X18 kann deshalb entfallen.
