Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'entrée optique (110), notamment une souris d'ordinateur ou analogue, dans lequel l'effet appelé 'auto-mélange', produit dans un laser à diode est utilisé pour mesurer le déplacement relatif du dispositif (110) par rapport à une surface (120). Un boîtier (112) contient un module de mesure optique (114) comprenant un laser (3) et un détecteur (4). Le boîtier (112) contient la totalité du module de mesure optique (114) et comprend une plaque de base (116) présentant une fenêtre transparente (124) à travers laquelle la surface (120) est éclairée par le faisceau de mesure (13), et les rayonnements réfléchis par la surface (120) peuvent retourner dans la cavité laser. Comme le boîtier (112) est totalement fermé, il n'est pas nécessaire d'avoir recours à un écran ESD et le dispositif peut devenir étanche au liquide.
