Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de fibres minérales dans lequel un minéral fondu est amené à un premier rotor de fibrage en rotation dans un système de fibrage comprenant au moins deux rotors de fibrage et s'étendant de la surface du fuseau du rotor en rotation à la surface du fuseau du second rotor en rotation et de cet emplacement, successivement à toutes les surfaces de fuseau de tous les rotors suivants possibles. Le minéral fondu prend ensuite la forme de fibres minérales au niveau des périphéries actives des rotors en rotation et les fibres minérales ainsi formées sont dégagées des rotors de fibrage de l'appareil de fibrage à l'aide d'un moyen de dégagement des fibres disposés au niveau des périphéries actives en direction d'un élément collecteur. Un liant est appliqué aux fibres minérales pendant leur formation au moyen d'un élément d'application de liant disposé au niveau des périphéries actives des rotors. La périphérie active d'au moins un des rotors de fibrage est divisée en au moins une première section et une seconde section et un élément d'application du liant et/ou un moyen de dégagement des fibres au niveau de la première section sont commandés indépendamment de l'élément d'application du liant et/ou du moyen de dégagement des fibres au niveau de la seconde section. L'invention concerne également un appareil de fabrication de fibres minérales ainsi qu'un système muni d'un rotor de fibrage.
