Abstract

La présente invention concerne un nouveau polymère oléfinique multifonctionnel fortement greffé, comprenant une composition additive préparée par les étapes suivantes: (A) mise en réaction d'un copolymère d'éthylène et d'au moins une a-oléfine en C3 à C23, et éventuellement d'un polyène sélectionné entre les diènes et triènes non conjugués, le mélange réactionnel comprenant environ 15 à 80 % en moles d'éthylène, environ 20 à 85 % en moles de ladite a-oléfine en C3 à C23, et environ 0 à 10 % en moles dudit polyène, ledit copolymère ayant un poids moléculaire moyen en nombre allant de 1000 à 500000, avec un agent d'acylation d'acide carboxylique oléfinique, ledit procédé comprenant le chauffage dudit polymère jusqu'à son état de fusion, à une température de 60 °C à 240 °C, le greffage dans une extrudeuse ou un dispositif de mélange, dudit agent d'acylation carboxylique oléfinique sur ledit copolymère, suivi éventuellement de la réduction du poids moléculaire dudit copolymère à une température de 250 °C à 350 °C, ce qui permet l'obtention d'un copolymère acylé greffé à poids moléculaire réduit ayant un poids moléculaire moyen en nombre de 1000 à 80000, et ayant au moins 1,0 molécules dudit agent d'acylation d'acide carboxylique greffé sur chaque molécule dudit copolymère oléfinique; et (B) mise en réaction dudit copolymère réduit acylé obtenu en (A), avec une polyamine spécifique.
