Abstract

La présente invention concerne un composteur (10) ayant un réservoir à liquides (34) à travers lequel un liquide peut circuler, le réservoir à liquides étant raccordé à ou contenant un chauffage pour liquides (70). Le composteur comprend en outre un boîtier perforé (36) qui est situé au-dessus du réservoir à liquides et dans lequel on peut déverser des matières à composter. Un récipient amovible (30) est intercalé entre le boîtier perforé et le réservoir à liquides, récipient dans lequel des matières compostées du boîtier perforé peuvent être placées et un couvercle (12) est situé par-dessus le boîtier perforé. Le composteur comprend enfin une fermeture (18) dans le couvercle à travers laquelle on peut accéder au boîtier perforé, de sorte que lors de l’utilisation du composteur, l’air chauffé par le liquide dans le réservoir à liquides peut circuler vers le haut à travers le composteur et aspirer de l’air frais dans le composteur pour faciliter le compostage de matières dans le boîtier perforé.
