Abstract

De manière générale, l'invention concerne le traitement d'images. Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne le traitement d'une imagerie de capteur au moyen d'une imagerie générée. Des modes de réalisation de l'invention consistent à recevoir des données de capteur, des données de véhicule et des données GPS, et à accéder à une base de données en vue de l'obtention d'une image préstockée d'une zone cible. L'image préstockée de la zone cible peut ensuite être prétraitée par transformation de l'image en un système de coordonnées à gauchissement et par ajout d'effets visuels en vue de la création d'une image de projection de la zone cible. L'image de projection peut ensuite être comparée avec une image en cours de la zone cible en vue d'une détermination d'un emplacement tridimensionnel d'une cible située dans la zone cible. Des modes de réalisation supplémentaires de l'invention comprennent l'utilisation d'une boucle de rétroaction pour l'affinement et la correction des résultats et/ou l'utilisation de processeurs parallèles pour un traitement de vitesse.
