Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Abtrennung von Biomolekülen aus flüssigen Medien, wobei ein Biomoleküle enthaltendes flüssiges Medium bereitgestellt wird, das flüssige Medium mit einem Tonmaterial behandelt wird, welches eine spezifische Oberfläche von mehr als 180 m2/g, ein Porenvolumen von mehr als 0,35 ml/g, eine Ionenumtauschfähigkeit von mehr als 40 meq/100 g und ein Sedimentvolumen in Wasser von weniger als 15 ml/2 g aufweist, und das gereinigte flüssige Medium von dem Tonmaterial abgetrennt wird.
