【課題】 本発明は、小型化、軽量化、省スペース化、放熱性、メタルコア基板の機械強度的な補強という複数の要望を同時に満たしたメタルコア基板の補強構造を提供する。 【解決手段】  本発明のメタルコア基板の補強構造は、メタルコアを有するメタルコア基板1と、メタルコア基板1と略同じ広さの面を備え、メタルコア基板1の一方の面に略平行且つ所定の間隔を隔てた状態で、メタルコア基板1に固定して取り付けられた樹脂プレート2とを有する。

[0001] 本発明は、メタルコア基板の補強構造及び電気接続箱に関する。
背景技術
[0002] 近年、自動車用電気接続箱の分野においては、製品の小型化、通電電流値の増 カロ、設計変更の容易化等の要請から、放熱性に優れているメタルコア基板を用いた 電気接続箱が提案されて 、る。
[0003] メタルコア基板とは、内部に銅やアルミニウム等の金属からなるメタルコアを有する プリント基板のことである。
[0004] 一般に、メタルコア基板は、その厚さが増すと基板の均熱化効果が向上する。一方
、自動車用電気接続箱に使用した場合には、その重量と強度が問題になるので、基 板の均熱化効果が得られる程度にできるだけ薄くとすると同時に、基板の強度を補 強することが求められて 、る。
[0005] 従来、電気接続箱に使用されるプリント基板を補強する方法としては、種々の技術 が提案されている。
[0006] 例えば、特開 2001— 237572号公報には、筐体に設けられた支持部材に補強部 材を介してプリント基板を支持するプリント基板の補強構造が開示されている(以下、 従来例 1という)。
[0007] また、特開 2004— 72881号公報には、 2枚のメタルコア基板の間に放熱プレート を挟んだ構造が開示されて!、る(以下、従来例 2と 、う)。
[0008] さらに、特開平 7— 321421号公報には、フレキシブルプリント回路板を補強するた めに、フレキシブルプリント回路板に補強材を貼着する構造が開示されている(以下
、従来例 3という)。
[0009] また、近年、自動車に用いられる電装品の増大により、電気接続箱中に多くの枚数 の基板を配置した 、との要望がある。
[0010] しかし、メタルコア基板を備えた従来の電気接続箱にぉ ヽては、基板の強度性を確 保するために、基板の角部(四方形の基板の場合には 4つの角部)をアッパーケース やロアケースにネジ等の締結部材により固定して、基板をケースに対して水平状態に 配置していた。この場合、アッパーケース側に 1枚の基板、ロアケース側に 1枚の基板 の合計 2枚の基板をケース内に配置するのが限界であった(以下、従来例 4という)。

発明が解決しょうとする課題
[0012] 従来例 1では、プリント基板の両端部に補強部材を取り付けているので、装置がプリ ント基板の面方向に大型化するという課題があった。
[0013] 従来例 2では、放熱プレートは金属製で重量があるため、補強構造の軽量ィ匕が困 難になるという課題があった。また、放熱プレートの車体等と接続する接続部が放熱 プレート本体力も突出しており、省スペース化に不利になるという課題があった。
[0014] 従来例 3では、フレキシブルプリント回路板を補強部材に貼着して 、るため、フレキ シブルプリント回路板の放熱性を確保できな 、と 、う課題があった。
[0015] 従来例 4では、基板をケースに対して水平状態に配置していたので、ケース内に配 置できる基板の数が制限され、ケース内のスペースを有効に活用できないという課題 かあつた。
[0016] 本発明は、上記課題を解決するためになされたものであり、小型化、軽量化、省ス ペース化、放熱性、メタルコア基板の機械強度的な補強という複数の要望を同時に 満たしたメタルコア基板の補強構造を提供することを目的とする。
[0017] 本発明は又、多くのメタルコア基板をケース内に配置できるとともに、ケース内のス ペースを有効に活用できる電気接続箱を提供することを目的とする。
課題を解決するための手段
[0018] 本発明の第 1のメタルコア基板の補強構造は、メタルコアを有するメタルコア基板と 、前記メタルコア基板と略同じ広さの面を備え、前記メタルコア基板の一方の面に略 平行且つ所定の間隔を隔てた状態で、前記メタルコア基板に固定して取り付けられ た榭脂プレートとを有することを特徴とするものである。
[0019] 本発明の第 2のメタルコア基板の補強構造は、メタルコアを有する第 1のメタルコア 基板と、メタルコアを有する第 2のメタルコア基板と、前記第 1のメタルコア基板及び第 2のメタルコア基板の間に配置された榭脂プレートと、を有し、前記第 1のメタルコア基 板、第 2のメタルコア基板及び榭脂プレートは、略同じ広さの面を備え、前記榭脂プ レートは、前記第 1のメタルコア基板の一方の面に略平行且つ所定の第 1の間隔を 隔てた状態で、前記第 1のメタルコア基板に固定して取り付けられ、かつ、前記第 2の メタルコア基板の一方の面に略平行且つ所定の第 2の間隔を隔てた状態で、前記第 2のメタルコア基板に固定して取り付けられることを特徴とするものである。

発明の効果
[0023] 本発明のメタルコア基板の補強構造によれば、次のような優れた効果を奏する。
[0024] (1)メタルコア基板と略同じ広さの面を備えた榭脂プレートを有し、かつ、その榭脂 プレートをメタルコア基板に略平行に配置して!/、るので、省スペース化を確保しなが ら機械強度的にも補強できる。
[0025] (2)メタルコア基板と略同じ広さの面を備えた榭脂プレートを用いることにより、軽量 ィ匕、小型化を図ることができる。
[0026] (3)メタルコア基板に榭脂プレート本体を密着させず、所定の間隔を介在させてい るので、メタルコア基板と榭脂プレートとの間の空間部に熱を逃すことができ、メタル コア基板からの放熱性を確保できる。
[0027] 本発明の電気接続箱によれば、上記メタルコア基板の補強構造を備えた基板組立 体をケースに固定して収納しているので、メタルコア基板の強度を確保でき、基板を ケースに対して水平状態だけでなく、略垂直状態に配置することも可能となる。その 結果、メタルコア基板をケース内で自由な位置に配置することができ、所望の数、形 状、大きさのメタルコア基板をケース内に配置できるとともに、ケース内のスペースを 有効に活用できる。

ことを特徴とするメタルコア基板の補強構造。
[3] 前記第 1のメタルコア基板と前記第 2のメタルコア基板とは、ヒューズを介して電気 的に接続され、
前記ヒューズの端子幅に合わせて前記第 1の間隔と前記第 2の間隔とが規定されて いることを特徴とする請求項 2記載のメタルコア基板の補強構造。
[4] 前記榭脂プレートは、電磁波シールド機能を備えて!/、ることを特徴とする請求項 1 乃至 3のいずれか 1つの項に記載のメタルコア基板の補強構造。
[5] 前記請求項 1乃至 4の 、ずれか 1つの項に記載のメタルコア基板の補強構造を備 えた基板組立体と、
前記基板組立体を固定して収納するケースと、
を有することを特徴とする電気接続箱。
[6] 前記ケースは、水平方向に延びて形成され、 前記基板組立体は、前記ケースに対して略垂直方向に配置されて 、る、 ことを特徴とする請求項 5に記載の電気接続箱。
