Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un lavabo réglable en hauteur comprenant une partie fixe (1) et une partie mobile (2). La partie fixe est destinée à être fixée au mur (3) à une hauteur appropriée tandis que la partie mobile est destinée à être assemblée à la première partie, de manière à ressortir considérablement par rapport à la partie frontale et à être reliée à cette dernière au moyen de deux cylindres à double effet (5) dont les axes sont fixés solidement à la partie fixe et agissent comme guides verticaux pour permettre le déplacement des cylindres (5) associés à la partie mobile, lesdits cylindres étant actionnés par la pression du système et au moyen d'un groupe de vannes (13). De cette façon, il est possible de faire varier considérablement la hauteur du lavabo qui est montée sur la partie mobile (2) sans qu'il soit nécessaire d'effectuer des travaux dans le mur (3) de la salle de bains et tout en conservant l'accès intégral à l'espace situé sous la partie mobile (2), ledit lavabo convenant alors parfaitement à des personnes handicapées en chaise roulante.
