Abstract

Torre modular prefabricada, del tipo de las utilizadas como soporte para generadores eólicos y otras aplicaciones, caracterizada porque utiliza elementos prefabricados de espesor reducido y reforzados con una estructura interna de nervios horizontales y verticales, realizados preferentemente de hormigón armado, estando tensados los elementos tanto horizontal como verticalmente mediante cables metálicos flexibles. La invención que se presenta aporta las principales ventajas de permitir Ia rápida construcción de torres de muy elevada altura utilizando un reducido número de elementos, a la par que estos elementos son de bajo peso y fácil transporte, todo ello con una gran economía en el coste de fabricación, transporte e instalación.

Description

TORRE MODULAR PREFABRICADA
La presente memoria descriptiva se refiere, como su título indica, a torre modular prefabricada, del tipo de las utilizadas como soporte para generadores eólicos y otras aplicaciones, caracterizada porque utiliza elementos prefabricados de espesor reducido y reforzados con una estructura interna de nervios horizontales y verticales, realizados preferentemente de hormigón armado, estando tensados los elementos tanto horizontal como verticalmente mediante cables metálicos flexibles.
En Ia actualidad son ampliamente conocidos múltiples y variados tipos de generadores de electricidad a partir de Ia energía eólica, también conocidos como aerogeneradores. Estos generadores constan de una turbina asociada a unas aspas que está soportada sobre una torre.
La mayoría de las torres de soporte de generadores comúnmente utilizadas suelen ser metálicas, bien con estructura de celosía o con forma cilindrica o tronco cónica hueca. Este tipo de torres presentan una serie de problemas, entre los cuales podemos citar Ia necesidad de un mantenimiento frecuente con tratamientos u pintura que las protejan del oxido, su corta duración operativa, normalmente menor de 20 años debido al agotamiento por fatiga del material (a causa de los constantes ciclos de tracción y compresión originados por Ia fuerza del viento que deben soportar), y el alto coste económico, tanto de fabricación como de transporte e instalación.
Además presentan el problema añadido de que únicamente son utilizables tanto técnica como económicamente para alturas entre 25 y 40 m.. Para alturas mayores de 5Om. comienza a ser inviable Ia realización de torres metálicas, tanto por su rigidez para soportar el esfuerzo como el alto coste material involucrado, Io cual limita enormemente Ia elevación de los aerogeneradores. La tendencia constructiva de ios aerogeneradores apunta a un aumento de su potencia, y a una situación mucho más elevada de Ia turbina y las aspas, además de dotar a esta turbina de unas aspas mucho mayores, con el fin de eliminar ei efecto de pantalla de los montes, tratando de utilizar las capas más altas de aire donde el flujo es más constante y por tanto Ia producción de energía mucho mayor.
Ello hace que se deban buscar alternativas constructivas para las torres, que permitan alcanzar alturas mayores de 50 m., acercándose a alturas de unos 90 ó 10Om. La rigidez necesaria hace que no sea viable su realización con estructuras metálicas, por Io que se ha intentado Ia construcción mediante hormigón armado, que presenta unas características de rigidez, resistencia y coste mucho mejores.
Es conocida Ia técnica de construcción de torres iπ-situ, mediante encofrado en forma de celosía o similar, de igual manera que los edificios y rascacielos, pero presenta el inconveniente de ser un proceso lento y de un coste económico alto, especialmente por Ia mano de obra. Un ejemplo de esta técnica constructiva Io podemos encontrar en Ia patente JP 200100658 ""Torre de muy alta elevación" o bien en Ia patente DE 19936603 "Método de ingeniería estructural de mástil hueco o estructura de hormigón como una torres, por ejemplo para una planta de energía eólica, comprendiendo una estructura guía de trabajo utilizada durante Ia construcción instalada en el espacio Interior",
Se ha intentado buscar otras soluciones. Por ejemplo Ia patente WO 2004007955 "Método para la producción de un segmento de cemento para una torre de una planta de generación eólica" presenta un sistema constructivo utilizando segmentos tronco cónicos enteros apilables realizados en una fábrica de prefabricados de hormigón y transportados hasta el lugar del emplazamiento, que adolece del problema de que los segmentos deben de ser de baja altura para poder ser transportados utilizando los métodos convencionales de transporte por carretera, con sus imitaciones legales y prácticas, Io cual obliga a Ia utilización de un número muy elevado de segmentos apilados para formar Ia torre, con un alto coste económico tanto por el transporte como por Ia mano de obra y elevada utilización de grúas para su instalación y montaje. Este método presenta el inconveniente añadido de que, para formar una torre troncocónica, cada segmento debe de ser de diferente medida, Io cual obliga a Ia utilización de tantos moldes como segmentos compongan Ia torre, con el consiguiente incremento de su complejidad productiva. Además, para conseguir Ia necesaria rigidez y solidez los segmentos debe tener un grueso de pared considerable, Io cual incrementa su coste y peso a transportar.
Para intentar reducir el tamaño de las piezas a transportar se ha intentado dividir cada segmento tronco cónico en piezas separadas, tal y como se describe en el Modelo de Utilidad 200402304 "Estructura perfeccionada de torre modular para turbinas eólicas y otras aplicaciones" y en Ia Patente W003/069099 "Turbina de viento", pero ambas presentan el inconveniente de que para lograr Ia rigidez y resistencia estructural se utilizan paredes macizas de elevado grueso, lisas por u parte interior y por su parte exterior Io cual al elevar notablemente el peso de las piezas, Io cual origina el problema de necesitar un gran número de piezas para conformar Ia torre, con gran coste económico tanto de transporte como de montaje, aparte del elevado coste de fabricación por el gran número de moldes de fabricación necesarios, y el elevado peso estructural que origina.
Asimismo se conocen torres como Ia descrita en el Modelo de Utilidad 200402504 "Estructura perfeccionada de torre modular para turbinas eólicas y otras aplicaciones" que comparten con las anteriores Ia característica de utilizar piezas separadas para formar los segmentos en los que, para lograr Ia rigidez y resistencia estructural, se emplean paredes macizas de elevado grueso, lisas por u parte interior y por su parte exterior Io cual al elevar notablemente el peso de las piezas, Io cual origina el mismo problema de necesitar un gran número de piezas para conformar Ia torre, con gran coste económico tanto de transporte como de montaje. Esta realización utiliza además como refuerzo estructural de Ia torre un sistema de pretensado exterior consistente en unos cables tensores verticales, que presentan el problema de que deben ir unidos a Ia cimentación de Ia torre, con Io cual deben preverse los correspondientes anclajes, además de que presentan el problema de que únicamente van relacionados con las paredes en los orificios pasantes de unas bridas de dichas paredes, con Io cual únicamente realizan un contacto parcial con dichas paredes, realizando un refuerzo bastante pobre, además de dejar al aire fuera de Ia pared Ia mayor parte de dichos cables, por el interior de Ia torre, con el consiguiente impacto visual negativo, a Ia par de problema añadido del deterioro que se produce por el esfuerzo tensional de los cables unido a Ia acción de desgaste y corrosión atmosférica que limita enormemente su vida útil.
Para solventar Ia problemática existente en Ia actualidad en cuanto al problema de Ia construcción de torres soporte de gran altura para generadores eólicos y otras aplicaciones se ha ideado Ia torre modular prefabricada objeto de Ia presente invención, Ia cual utiliza elementos prefabricados de espesor reducido y reforzados con una estructura interna de nervios horizontales y verticales, realizados preferentemente de hormigón armado, estando tensados los elementos tanto horizontal como verticalmente mediante cables metálicos flexibles.
La torre está dividida en un reducido número de partes de forma tronco cónica, estando a su vez cada una de estas partes formada por Ia unión lateral de un número también reducido de elementos modulares prefabricados ¡guales entre sí realizados preferentemente en hormigón armado. En un ejemplo de realización preferente Ia torre está dividida en tres partes tronco cónicas, con una altura aproximada comprendida entre 30 y 35m. en cada parte, Io cual nos da una altura total de Ia torre de unos 10Om. aproximadamente. En este ejemplo de realización preferente Ia parte inferior está formada por 5 elementos modulares prefabricados iguales entre sí colocados de forma adyacente, Ia parte intermedia por otros 5 elementos modulares prefabricados ¡guales entre sí, aunque obviamente de menores diámetros que los anteriores, colocados también de forma adyacente, y Ia parte superior está formada únicamente por 3 elementos modulares prefabricados iguales entre sí pero distintos de los anteriores. Este ejemplo de realización preferente nos muestra como se realiza una torre de unos 100 m de altura utilizando únicamente 13 elementos modulares prefabricados, que únicamente necesitan ser de 3 tipos diferentes, necesitándose únicamente 3 moldes diferentes para su fabricación.
Cada uno de los elementos modulares prefabricados tiene Ia forma apropiada para propiciar Ia formación de una parte tronco cónica de Ia torre al ser colocados de manera adyacente. Su pared externa es lisa mientras que Ia pared interna presenta una pluralidad de nervios de refuerzo emergentes horizontales y verticales que permiten que Ia pared de los elementos modulares sea de reducido espesor, manteniendo una alta rigidez y resistencia con una importante reducción en el peso del elemento modular prefabricado. Las paredes laterales verticales, de reducida anchura, presentan una hendidura en toda su altura de sección preferentemente trapezoidal, destinada a Ia junta de cemento de unión.
Los nervios de refuerzo horizontalmente dispuestos presentan cada uno una tubo central longitudinal a Io largo de todo su recorrido que permite el paso de cables tensores, preferiblemente flexibles de acero, que se encargan de solidarizar horizontalmente entre sí los elementos modulares prefabricados que conforman cada parte de Ia torre, contribuyendo a aumentar Ia rigidez y estabilidad del conjunto. Esta solidarización se realizará preferentemente dividiendo cada recorrido horizontal en dos tramos de cable en lugar de uno solo para poder tensar los cables más fácilmente mediante los oportunos gatos o herramientas similares. Para ello en los módulos prefabricados contarán con las oportunas aberturas de acceso a los tubos centrales horizontales.
Una vez colocadas adyacentemente entre sí los elementos modulares prefabricados que conforman cada parte de Ia torre, y tensados los cables tensores horizontalmente dispuestos, se procede al cierre de las juntas verticales de unión entre cada dos elementos modulares, sellando previamente Ia junta por su parte externa e interna mediante una junta de cierre, procediendo a continuación a verter, en el hueco conformado por las hendiduras laterales de los elementos modulares adyacentes, un elemento de sellado, preferentemente del tipo de cemento liquido, que con su fraguado contribuya a Ia solidez del conjunto.
Asimismo, los elementos modulares prefabricados disponen de una pluralidad de tubos pasantes verticalmente dispuestos en Ia pared e integrados completamente en ella, destinados asimismo al paso de cables tensores, preferiblemente flexibles de acero, que se encargan de solidarizar verticalmente entre sí las partes que conforman Ia torre. Estos cables tensores verticales se instalaran partiendo del nervio inferior de los elementos modulares prefabricados que conforman Ia parte inferior de Ia torre, atravesando los tubos pasantes que posteriormente son rellenados con mortero solidarizando e integrando los cables dentro de los tubos pasantes y, por tanto, de las paredes, quedando ocultos tanto interna como externamente y completamente solidarizados con Ia torre. Irán colocados en grupos de un cable por parte de Ia torre (tres cables en el ejemplo de realización preferencial), de tal forma que los primeros cables de cada grupo se tensan por encima de Ia unión entre Ia primera parte y Ia segunda parte, los segundos cables de cada grupo se tensarán por encima de Ia unión entre Ia segunda parte y Ia tercera parte, y así sucesivamente. De esta forma de contribuye a tensionar todo el conjunto de Ia torre a Io largo de toda su altura, procediendo a continuación al rellenado de los tubos pasantes con mortero y otro elemento similar. Los cables verticales quedan de esta forma completamente integrados con las paredes de Ia torre, contribuyendo a su rigidez, pero quedando ocultos a Ia vista, tanto en el interior de Ia torre como en el exterior.
La unión entre las distintas partes que conforman verticalmente Ia torre se realizará, además de mediante los antedicho cables tensores verticales, usando los métodos de unión comunes en los prefabricados de hormigón, tal y como un machihembrado o un receptáculo relleno con cemento liquido, protegido por un vierteaguas para eliminar posible entrada de lluvia. Es característico de Ia invención que las partes que conforman verticalmente la torre se montarán una sobre otra con un giro horizontal equivalente a Ia distancia angular que separa entre si dos nervios verticales de refuerzo, de tal forma que así las ranuras verticales de unión existentes en cada parte entre los elementos modulares prefabricados no coincidan verticalmente, sin alterar el perfecto apoyo entre los nervios verticales, mejorando de esta forma su aislamiento frente al agua. Para ello cada elemento modular prefabricado dispondrá preferentemente de dos nervios verticales completos, y dos semi-nervios en los extremos, que al unirse conformen un equivalente de un nervio, para poder permitir este giro.
La unión de Ia base de Ia primera parte de Ia torre con Ia cimentación se realizará de acuerdo a las técnicas convencionales de cimentación y anclaje comúnmente utilizadas en construcción, tales como atornillamiento por barra rígida o similares, dimensionadas apropiadamente para las dimensiones de Ia torre.
La última parte de Ia torre puede enlazar con otro tramo de torre prefabricada de hormigón, metálica, o bien directamente soportar el recinto del generador eólico y la estructura de soporte de las aspas.
Esta torre modular prefabricada que se presenta aporta múltiples ventajas sobre los sistemas disponibles en Ia actualidad siendo Ia más importante permitir Ia rápida construcción de torres de muy elevada altura utilizando un reducido número de elementos. En el ejemplo de realización preferente se muestra como se realiza una torre de unos 100 m de altura utilizando únicamente 13 elementos modulares prefabricados, que únicamente necesitan ser de 3 tipos diferentes, necesitándose por tanto únicamente 3 moldes diferentes para su fabricación.
Otra importante ventaja es que ya que los elementos modulares prefabricados disponen de unos nervios de refuerzo, se produce una reducción en peso muy importante permitiendo un fácil transporte, todo ello con una gran economía en el coste de fabricación, transporte e instalación. δ
Es importante destacar Ia innegable ventaja que representa que en el ejemplo de realización preferencial cada uno de los elementos modulares prefabricados presenta unas dimensiones calculadas para su longitud aproximada este comprendida entre 30 y 35m., siendo Ia anchura máxima de cada elemento como máximo de 4.5m. para permitir un transporte normal por carretera. Dado que Ia restante medida suele ser de unos 70cm.7 en caso necesario puede colocarse un posible refuerzo temporal en forma de celosía metálica soportarlo temporalmente durante el transporte o durante su montaje en Ia obra.
Otra ventaja de Ia presente invención es que toda Ia torre está perfectamente tensada por cables tanto horizontal como verticalmente.
Resaltar Ia importante ventaja que supone que los cables verticales quedan completamente integrados con las paredes de Ia torre, pasados a través de los tubos pasantes insertos en las paredes y posteriormente rellenos con mortero, contribuyendo a su rigidez, pero quedando ocultos a Ia vista, tanto en el interior de Ia torre como en el exterior, además de mejorando enormemente Ia duración del cable, ya que se evita su contacto con el exterior y Ia subsiguiente degradación atmosférica.
Para comprender mejor el objeto de Ia presente invención, en el plano anexo se ha representado una realización práctica preferencial de una torre modular prefabricada como Ia anteriormente descrita.
En dicho plano la figura -1- muestra una vista en alzado y planta de Ia torre, apreciándose las tres partes que Ia componen

La torre modular prefabricada (4) objeto de Ia presente invención, esta formada básicamente, como puede apreciarse en el plano anexo, por un reducido número de partes (1,2,3) de forma tronco cónica, estando a su vez cada una de estas partes (1,2,3) formada por Ia unión lateral de un número también reducido de elementos modulares prefabricados (6,7,8) iguales entre sí realizados preferentemente en hormigón armado. En un ejemplo de realización preferente Ia torre (4) está dividida en tres partes tronco cónicas (1,2,3), con una altura aproximada comprendida entre 30 y 35m. en cada parte, Io cual nos da una altura total de Ia torre de unos 10Om. aproximadamente. En este ejemplo de realización preferente Ia parte inferior (1) está formada por 5 elementos modulares prefabricados (6) iguales entre sí colocados de forma adyacente, Ia parte intermedia (2) por otros 5 elementos modulares prefabricados (7) iguales entre sí, aunque obviamente de menores diámetros que los anteriores, colocados también de forma adyacente, y Ia parte superior (3) está formada únicamente por 3 elementos modulares prefabricados (8) ¡guales entre sí pero distintos de los anteriores.
Tal y como hemos visto anteriormente, cada uno de los elementos modulares prefabricados (6,7,8) tiene Ia forma apropiada para propiciar Ia formación de una parte tronco cónica de Ia torre al ser colocados de manera adyacente. Su pared externa (9) es lisa mientras que Ia pared interna (10) presenta una pluralidad de nervios de refuerzo emergentes horizontales (11) y verticales (12) que permiten que Ia pared principal (13) de los elementos modulares (6,7,8) sea de reducido espesor. Las paredes laterales verticales, de reducida anchura, presentan una hendidura (14) en toda su altura de sección preferentemente trapezoidal, destinada a Ia junta de cemento de unión (15).
Los nervios de refuerzo (11) horizontalmente dispuestos presentan cada uno un tubo central (16) longitudinal a Io largo de todo su recorrido que permite el paso de cables tensores (17), preferiblemente flexibles de acero, que se encargan de solidarizar horizontalmente entre sí los elementos modulares (6,7,8) prefabricados que conforman cada parte de Ia torre (4), contando los módulos prefabricados con las oportunas aberturas de acceso (18) a los tubos centrales (16) horizontales.
Una vez colocadas adyacentemente entre sí los elementos modulares (6,7,8) prefabricados que conforman cada parte de Ia torre (4), y tensados los cables tensores (17) horizontalmente dispuestos, se procede al cierre de las juntas verticales de unión entre cada dos elementos modulares (6,7,8), sellando previamente Ia junta por su parte externa e interna mediante una junta de cierre (19), procediendo a continuación a verter, en el hueco conformado por las hendiduras laterales de los elementos modulares adyacentes, un elemento de sellado, preferentemente del tipo de cemento liquido (15).
Asimismo, los elementos modulares (6,7,8) prefabricados disponen de una pluralidad de tubos pasantes (20) integrados completamente dentro de Ia pared (13) y verticalmente dispuestos en ella, destinados asimismo al paso de cables tensores (21), que se encargan de solidarizar verticalmente entre sí las partes (1,2,3) que conforman Ia torre.
Estos cables tensores (21) verticales se instalaran partiendo del nervio inferior (22) de los elementos modulares prefabricados (6), sin necesidad de prolongarlos hasta Ia cimentación, que conforman Ia parte inferior (1) de Ia torre (4), atravesando los tubos pasantes (20) que posteriormente son rellenados con mortero solidarizando e integrando los cables dentro de los tubos pasantes (20) y, por tanto, de las paredes (13), quedando ocultos tanto interna como externamente, yendo colocados preferentemente en grupos de un cable por parte de Ia torre (4) (tres cables en este ejemplo de realización preferencial), De esta manera los cables tensores (21) verticales quedan totalmente unidos a Ia torre (4) en toda su altura.
Es característico de Ia invención que las partes (1,2,3) que conforman verticaímente Ia torre se montarán una sobre otra con un giro horizontal equivalente a Ia distancia angular que separa entre si dos nervios verticales (12) de refuerzo, de tal forma que así las ranuras verticales de unión (15) existentes en cada parte entre los elementos modulares prefabricados no coincidan verticaímente.
Se omite voluntariamente hacer una descripción detallada del resto de particularidades del sistema que se presenta o de los elementos componentes que Io integran, pues estimamos por nuestra parte que el resto de dichas particularidades no son objeto de reivindicación alguna.
Una vez descrita suficientemente Ia naturaleza del presente invento, así como una forma preferencial de llevarlo a Ia práctica, solo nos queda por añadir que su descripción no es limitativa, pudiéndose efectuar algunas variaciones, tanto en materiales como en formas o tamaños, siempre y cuando dichas variaciones no alteren Ia esencialidad de las características que se reivindican a continuación.

Claims

REIVINDICACIONES
1 - Torre modular prefabricada, del tipo de las utilizadas como soporte para generadores eólicos y otras aplicaciones, formada por un reducido número de partes (1,2,3) de forma tronco cónica, estando a su vez cada una de estas partes (1,2,3) formada por Ia unión lateral de un número también reducido de elementos modulares prefabricados (6,7,8) iguales entre sí realizados preferentemente en hormigón armado, provistos de Ia forma apropiada para propiciar Ia formación de una parte tronco cónica de Ia torre al ser colocados de manera adyacente, siendo su pared externa (9) lisa , caracterizada porque Ia pared interna (10) presenta una pluralidad de nervios emergentes horizontales (11) y verticales (12) reforzando Ia pared principal (13) de reducido espesor de los elementos modulares (6,7,8), presentando las paredes laterales verticales una hendidura (14) en toda su altura de sección preferentemente trapezoidal, destinada a Ia junta de cemento de unión (15).
2 - Torre modular prefabricada, según las anteriores reivindicaciones, caracterizada porque cada uno de ios nervios de refuerzo (11) horizontalmente dispuestos en cada uno de los elementos modulares prefabricados (6,7,8) presentan un tubo central (16) longitudinal a Io largo de todo su recorrido que permite el paso de cables tensores (17), preferiblemente flexibles de acero, que se encargan de solidarizar horizontalmente entre sí los elementos modulares (6,7,8) prefabricados que conforman cada parte de Ia torre (4), contando los módulos prefabricados con las oportunas aberturas de acceso (18) a los tubos centrales (16) horizontales.
3 - Torre modular prefabricada, según las anteriores reivindicaciones, caracterizada porque una vez colocadas adyacentemente entre sí los elementos modulares (6,7,8) prefabricados que conforman cada parte de Ia torre (4), y tensados los cables tensores (17) horizontalmente dispuestos, se procede al cierre de las juntas verticales de unión entre cada dos elementos modulares (6,7,8), sellando previamente Ia junta por su parte externa e interna mediante una junta de cierre (19), procediendo a continuación a verter, en el hueco conformado por las hendiduras laterales de los elementos modulares adyacentes, un elemento de sellado, preferentemente del tipo de cemento liquido (15).
4 - Torre modular prefabricada, según las anteriores reivindicaciones, caracterizada porque los elementos modulares (6,7,8) prefabricados disponen de una pluralidad de tubos pasantes (20) integrados completamente dentro de Ia pared (13) y verticalmente dispuestos en ella, destinados al paso de cables tensores (21), que se encargan de solidarizar verticalmente entre sí las partes (1,2,3) que conforman Ia torre, instalándose estos cables tensores (21) verticales partiendo del nervio inferior (22) de los elementos modulares prefabricados (6) que conforman Ia parte inferior (1) de Ia torre (4), atravesando los tubos pasantes (20) que posteriormente son rellenados con mortero solidarizando e integrando los cables dentro de los tubos pasantes (20) y, por tanto, de las paredes (13), quedando ocultos tanto interna como externamente, y yendo colocados preferentemente en grupos de un cable por parte de Ia torre (4).
5 - Torre modular prefabricada, según las anteriores reivindicaciones, caracterizada porque las partes (1,2,3) que conforman verticalmente Ia torre se montarán una sobre otra con un giro horizontal equivalente a Ia distancia angular que separa entre si dos nervios verticales (12) de refuerzo, de tal forma que así las ranuras verticales de unión ( 15) existentes en cada parte entre los elementos modulares prefabricados no coincidan verticalmente.
6 - Torre modular prefabricada, según las anteriores reivindicaciones, caracterizada porque en un ejemplo de realización preferente Ia torre (4) está dividida en tres partes tronco cónicas (1,2,3), con una altura aproximada comprendida entre 30 y 35m. en cada parte, Io cual nos da una altura total de Ia torre de unos 10Om. aproximadamente, estando formada Ia parte inferior (1) por 5 elementos modulares prefabricados (6) iguales entre sí colocados de forma adyacente, Ia parte intermedia (2) por otros 5 elementos modulares prefabricados (7) ¡guales entre sí, aunque obviamente de menores diámetros que los anteriores, colocados también de forma adyacente, y Ia parte superior (3) está formada únicamente por 3 elementos modulares prefabricados (8) iguales entre sí pero distintos de los anteriores.
