Abstract

Un signal audiovisuel est converti d'un format d'origine à un format d'échange numérique sous forme de paquets et transporté entre un noeud de saisie et un noeud d'affichage par l'intermédiaire d'un commutateur. Le noeud d'affichage convertit le signal audiovisuel du format d'échange à un format permettant l'affichage et provoque l'affichage de ce signal audiovisuel. L'utilisation d'un commutateur pour l'acheminement et la distribution vidéo permet une distribution un-à-un, un-à-plusieurs, plusieurs-à-un et plusieurs-à-plusieurs. L'utilisation d'un format d'échange indépendant du dispositif permet une distribution simultanée de multiples signaux audiovisuels hétérogènes.
