Abstract

L'invention porte sur un amplificateur de puissance de signaux RF et le procédé correspondant conçu pour alimenter une charge résonante. Ledit amplificateur comporte un étage de commutation de fréquence dont la sortie est couplée à un circuit résonant, et configuré pour émettre un signal dont la modulation en amplitude correspond à celle d'un signal entrant, lorsqu'il est alimenté par une tension fixe. L'amplificateur comprend également un système de commande à rétroaction couplé au signal d'entrée et au signal de sortie, et comprenant un séquenceur dont la sortie pilote l'étage de commutation de fréquence. L'amplificateur comporte en outre un système de contrôle d'amplitude relié à la sortie de l'étage de commutation de fréquence et limitant l'amplitude du signal de sortie, et, dans certaines exécutions, un système de récupération d'énergie.
