Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil (2) et un procédé destinés à mesurer la distance entre des éléments dans une image ultrasonore (10), telle qu'une image de la région nucale foetale, et comprenant une unité destinée à localiser des éléments d'intensité maximale. Un dispositif de localisation d'éléments sous la forme d'un réseau neuronal (26) peut être utilisé pour localiser des crêtes d'intensité et pour localiser des bords arrière et des bords avant dans la région sélectionnée de l'image.
