- a relatively high setting accuracy can be achieved with the aid of a fine thread, e.g. as present in a photo lens. In this case the accuracy depends on the thread pitch, while the setting range is limited only by the thread length. In the extreme case, very many thread revolutions have to be made in order to cover the entire setting range.

Abstract
Selon l’invention, un dispositif de réglage comporte un élément de maintien (2) soutenant de façon mobile un élément tubulaire réglé (1). L’élément de maintien (2) comporte une fente hélicoïdale (3) se prolongeant au moins partiellement le long de sa circonférence. Une broche (5) montée rotative sur l’élément réglé (1) pénètre dans la fente hélicoïdale (3). Le mouvement de la broche (5) le long de la fente hélicoïdale (3) provoque la rotation et le mouvement en translation de l’élément réglé (1). La broche (5) est par ailleurs montée de façon excentrique sur l’élément réglé (1). La rotation de la broche (5) dans la fente hélicoïdale (3) provoque le mouvement en translation de l’élément réglé (1). Le dispositif de réglage peut être avantageusement utilisé pour régler la lentille d’un appareil de télévision à projection.
