- Light petroleum fuel can be produced on the basis of straight-run distillate and residual fractions, as well as products of secondary origin and mixtures thereof.
- Marine fuel oil is known, containing 36-42% wt of straight-run fuel oil, 42-48% wt of straight-run diesel fuel, 10-22% of wt coking gas oil or catalytic cracking. ("Chemistry and technology of fuels and oils", 1978, ZhZ, p.28-30)
- this fuel is characterized by instability of the pour point during storage and the content of an unjustifiably large number of distillate fractions - up to 70% in May.
- this fuel composition does not have high stability, which leads to stratification of marine fuel during its transportation and storage, in addition; the fuel contains significant amounts of hydrotreated diesel fuel and straight-run fuel oil.
- the objective of the invention is to increase stability. fuel, expanding the range and increasing the production of high-quality fuels for use in marine power plants.
- the fuel may contain up to 5% wt of light coking gas oil and 0.02-0, 1% in May. depressant additives based on copolymers of ethylene with vinyl acetate.
- the difference of the claimed technical solution is that in the composition of the proposed fuel, straight-run fuel oil is maximally replaced with residual products of deep oil refining and straight-run diesel fuel is used instead of hydrotreated.
- the selected ratio of components will increase the stability of fuel during transportation and storage, expand the range and increase the production of high-quality fuels with the rational use of low-quality products available at oil refineries.
