Abstract

L'invention concerne un aspirateur qui comprend un logement généralement allongé présentant une première extrémité et une deuxième extrémité, une poignée arrière située au niveau de la première extrémité et une entrée d'air située au niveau de la deuxième extrémité. Un ventilateur à aspiration et un moteur sont situés à l'intérieur du logement et le moteur est conçu pour entraîner ledit ventilateur à aspiration afin d'aspirer un flux d'air de travail dans l'entrée d'air. Un réceptacle à déchets est fonctionnellement associé au logement et est conçu pour éliminer des particules du flux d'air de travail. L'aspirateur comprend également une ou plusieurs poignées avant situées sur le logement entre la poignée arrière et l'entrée d'air. Selon différents aspects de l'invention, les poignées avant sont conçues pour : proposer à un utilisateur différentes positions des mains autour du périmètre du logement ; saisir simultanément la poignée arrière et une ou plusieurs des poignées avant pour nettoyer des surfaces de marches d'escalier tout en restant en position verticale ; et/ou tenir et utiliser l'aspirateur lorsque le logement est mis en rotation autour de son axe longitudinal à une première position angulaire et à une deuxième position angulaire, la première position angulaire étant orientée à environ 90 degrés ou plus par rapport à la deuxième position angulaire.
