Abstract

Boîte de vitesses notamment pour véhicule automobile, à arbres parallèles, comprenant un arbre primaire principal 4 et un arbre primaire auxiliaire 22, reliés chacun au moteur du véhicule par un dispositif d'embrayage 3 et un arbre secondaire 7 muni d'un pignon d'attaque 8 engrenant avec une couronne 9 de différentiel. L'un des arbres 12 de la boîte de vitesses étant muni d'un couple de pignons 57-58 de démultiplication, solidaires entre eux, engrenant l'un 57 avec un pignon de l'arbre primaire principal 4, l'autre 58 avec un pignon 25 de l'arbre primaire auxiliaire 22 selon des rapports d'engrènement différent. Le couple de pignons de démultiplication est monté sur un arbre intermédiaire 12 non coaxial avec l'arbre secondaire 7.
