Abstract

La présente invention concerne par un de ses aspects un système pour manipuler un matériau en vrac qui inclut un ou plusieurs sacs pliants et un véhicule utilisable pour soulever et transporter les sacs pliants. Les sacs comportent une paroi latérale d'une hauteur allant d'une première à une seconde extrémité, un panneau de fond fixé à la première extrémité de la paroi latérale, une ouverture formée par la seconde extrémité de la paroi latérale, et au moins un élément de manipulation fixé à la paroi latérale de manière adjacente à l'ouverture. La présente invention concerne par un autre aspect un procédé pour manipuler un matériau en vrac entre un premier site et un second site, lesquels sites sont éloignés physiquement l'un de l'autre, qui inclut les phases consistant à : a) prévoir un sac pliant ayant au moins un élément de manipulation fixé à la paroi latérale de manière adjacente à l'ouverture ; b) remplir le sac pliant avec un matériau en vrac ; c) prévoir un véhicule utilisable pour transporter et soulever le sac pliant utilisant l'élément de manipulation ; et d) transporter le sac pliant contenant le matériau en vrac du premier au second site.
