Abstract

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur katalytischen Oxidation von Sulfid (S2-) zu Sulfat (SO42-), insbesondere von Alkali- und Erdalkalimetallsulfiden sowie Übergangsmetallsulfiden und Ammoniumsulfid zu den entsprechenden Sulfaten. Beanspruchet ist auch die Verwendung des Verfahrens bei der Reinigung von Abwässern aus der Bariumsulfat- oder Papierherstellung.
