Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un trépan pour le prélèvement d'une carotte osseuse (20). Ce trépan comprend un outil (1) de forme tubulaire et une queue de préhension (3) pour l'entraînement en rotation de l'outil (1) par un instrument. Des moyens de guidage de l'outil (1) comprennent une tige (4) qui émerge hors de l'outil (1) et qui est munie de moyens de centrage (2,11; 9,10) sur le trépan. Les moyens de guidage de l'outil (1) comprennent un foret (19,25) apte à ménager un avant trou (6) dans la matière osseuse (7) préalablement à la mise en contact de l'outil (1) contre cette dernière. Cet avant trou (6) forme un canal de réception de l'extrémité émergeante de la tige (4) qui constitue un doigt de guidage (5) agencé en cheville apte à être introduite à l'intérieur d'un tel avant trou (6).
