Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à améliorer la circulation de véhicules d'urgence au moyen de balises. Le véhicule d'urgence (1) dispose d'un terminal TE (3) qui peut accéder à un réseau d'accès sans fil (4) et qui gère le service d'amélioration de circulation. Il utilise, en outre, des balises de positionnement (6) situées en différents points du réseau routier (8), qui communiquent par radio avec les véhicules circulant à proximité de celles-ci. La position du véhicule d'urgence (1) lorsqu'il passe proche d'une balise (6) étant connue, le réseau (4) informe les véhicules (7) possédant un terminal TE (11) et des moyens (10) de détermination de la position de la présence du véhicule d'urgence, et informe les véhicules se trouvant à une distance prédéfinie de cette balise, dans la même rue (8) que le véhicule d'urgence (1) ou dans une rue adjacente (9), pour que les véhicules (7) dégagent le chemin du véhicule d'urgence (1).
