Abstract

 プラズマディスプレイ装置は、放電セルを複数備えたパネルと、パネルのいずれかの電極に印加するための電圧を発生する電極印加用電源と、電極印加用電源の電圧を出力するスイッチング素子を有し電極を駆動する駆動電圧波形を発生する駆動波形発生部と、スイッチング素子を制御するスイッチ制御部と、スイッチ制御部に電力を供給する制御用電源と、電極印加用電源の電圧を降圧して制御用電源の電圧より低い電圧を発生しスイッチ制御部に電力を供給する補助電源部を備える。
