Abstract
レーザ照射により石英ガラスや二酸化珪素が溶融ドロスとなって析出しても穿孔が可能な方法を提供することを目的とし、加工物100のレーザ照射位置12に、レーザ発振装置20から波長1.2μm以上で液体への吸収率の大きいレーザ、例えば、CO2レーザを液体31を通って照射し、液体中に発生する微細な泡の進行流13の泡中に生ずる高圧力により、溶融ドロスを飛散させて、岩石100に穿孔等の加工を施す。
