Abstract

　海水排煙脱硫装置から排出される排水中の亜硫酸類濃度の極端な低下や、酸化処理による排水のｐＨの低下を防いで、排水の酸化処理を高効率で短時間に行うことができる海水排煙脱硫システムを提供する。海水排煙脱硫システムは、吸収液として海水を用いる脱硫吸収塔１７と、この脱硫吸収塔から排出される排水に含まれる亜硫酸類を酸化する排水酸化槽２０とを備えており、この排水酸化槽２０では、亜硫酸類を含有する排水に、空気吹込みノズル３３から少なくとも２段階に分けて空気を導入して、排水中の亜硫酸類を酸化するとともに、この段階的な酸化の進行に合わせて、海水投入口２６から少なくとも２段階に分けて海水を排水に投入し、排水を希釈する。
