Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Automatisierungscarrier (1) für Substrate, insbesondere Wafer (10) zur Herstellung siliziutnbasierter Solarzellen, mit zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Wänden (2; 3), einer Mehrzahl die Wände (2; 3) verbindenden Verbindungselemente (4) und mit einer Haltestruktur zum Halten der Wafer (10) im Carrier (1) in zu dessen Be- und Entladerichtung (B und E) senkrecht orientierter sowie zueinander paralleler und gleich beabstandeter Position. Eine belastungsfreie Halterung für verschiedene Waferformate beim Transport wird dadurch erreicht, daß die beiden Wände als identische U-förmige Grund- und Deckplattenprofile (2; 3) ausgebildet sind, die lösbar mit vier senkrecht zur Be- und Entladerichtung (E bzw. B) des Carriers (1) orientierten Säulen (4) verbunden sind und mit diesen ein Gestell (5) des Carriers (1) bilden. Zwischen den jeweiligen Innenflächen (27) der Basisteile (26) der beiden einander gegenüberliegenden U-förmigen Grund- und Deckplattenprofile (2 und 3) des Carriergestells (5) befindet sich ein senkrecht zur Be- und Entlade Vorrichtung (B und E) erstreckender Anschlag (28) aus zwei Aluminium U-Profilen (29) mit eingefassten Gummielementen (30), an denen die dem Anschlag (28) zugewandten Stirnkanten (31) der in den einander gegenüberliegenden Kammplatten (16) mit ihren seitlichen Kantenbereichen geführten Wafer (10) beim Beladen des Carriers (1) stossschonend zur Anlage kommen.
