Abstract
Ein hochaktiver Nickel-Trägerkatalysator auf der Basis von Aluminiumoxid weist einen Nickelgehalt von etwa 20 bis 70 Gew.-% (als Ni) auf und enthält gegebenenfalls ein Bindemittel sowie gegebenenfalls einen Promotor, ausgewählt aus Verbindungen von Mg, Ti, Pd, Pt, Ba, Ca und/oder Cu, wobei die Größe der Ni-Kristallite im reduzierten Zustand im Bereich von etwa 3,5 bis 4,5 nm liegt und der Verzerrungsfaktor der Ni-Kristallite etwa 2 bis 5% beträgt. In einem Verfahren zur Reduktion des Gehalts an Schwefelverbindungen von auf Kohlenwasserstoffen basierenden Kraftstoffen durch selektive Adsorption der Schwefelverbindungen an einen Nickel-Katalysator wird ein Nickel-Katalysator auf Basis von Aluminiumoxid, insbesondere der vorstehend beschriebene, verwendet. Ein Nickel-Katalysator auf Basis von Aluminiumoxid kann zur Verringerung des Gehalts an Schwefelverbindungen von auf Kohlenwasserstoffen basierenden Kraftstoffen durch selektive Adsorption der Schwefelverbindungen an ihn und/oder zur Hydrierung von Aromaten verwendet werden.
