Abstract
L'invention concerne un moteur à combustion externe, qui obtient une puissance d'entraînement par mise en circulation d'un milieu thermique, en particulier, qui assure un mouvement alternatif d'un piston placé à l'intérieur d'un bloc-cylindres par mise en circulation du milieu thermique au moyen d'un compresseur, pour ainsi obtenir une puissance d'entraînement. Le moteur à combustion externe comprend: un carter dans lequel sont montés le compresseur et le bloc-cylindres; un arbre de piston monté afin de faire saillie vers l'extérieur du carter; un vilebrequin relié à une extrémité à l'arbre de piston et relié à l'autre extrémité à un dispositif externe; et un carter de moteur accouplé à la surface extérieure du carter dans un état dans lequel le vilebrequin traverse ledit carter, le carter de moteur étant conçu pour protéger une partie de liaison entre le vilebrequin et l'arbre de piston, le carter de moteur présentant une bague d'étanchéité montée sur un trou de vilebrequin, à travers lequel passe le vilebrequin, afin d'empêcher la fuite secondaire du milieu thermique à l'extérieur du carter. Le moteur à combustion externe peut empêcher une perte du milieu thermique vers l'extérieur, assurer un effet d'étanchéité plus sûr et sa durée de vie peut être prolongée par garantie de l'étanchéité du vilebrequin.
