Abstract

L'invention concerne un matériau sous forme d'un monolithe solide alvéolaire constitué par un polymère d'un oxyde inorganique. Le monolithe comprend des macropores ayant une dimension moyenne dA de 4 μm à 50 μm, des mésopores ayant une dimension moyenne dΣ de 20 à 30 Å et des micropores ayant une dimension moyenne di de 5 à 10 Å, lesdits pores étant interconnectés. Le polymère d'oxyde inorganique porte des groupements organiques R répondant à la formule -(CH2)n-R1 dans laquelle 0≤n≤5, et R1 est choisi parmi un groupe thiol, un groupe pyrrole, un groupe amino qui porte éventuellement un ou plusieurs substituants alkyle, alkylamino ou aryle éventuellement substitué, un groupe alkyle, ou un groupe phényle qui porte éventuellement un substituant R2 de type alkyle. Le matériau est utile comme support de catalyseur métallique, et pour la décontamination de milieux liquides ou gazeux.
