Abstract

 聴取中心軸に対して対称に設置され、内側方向に音を放射する第1スピーカユニット12、15と、前または外側方向に音を放射する第2スピーカユニット13、16を備え、センターチャンネル信号を第1及び第2スピーカユニット用の信号として各々処理する第1及び第2処理部を備え、フロントチャンネル信号は第2処理部の出力信号に重畳する。第1処理部は、HPF33と、高域成分を増大する第1ハイシェルフブロック34を備え、第2処理部は、LPF38と、低域及び高域成分を各々減衰させるローシェルフブロック36及び第2ハイシェルフブロック37を備える。聴取位置の近い方の第1及び第2スピーカユニットから到達するセンターチャンネル再生音が、位相差により中音域において弱め合う。中央音像定位が得られる聴取範囲を拡大し、センタースピーカをフロントスピーカシステムと一体構成可能である。
