Abstract

 永久磁石を有するロータ11と、ロータ11の回転軸心方向にロータ11を介して対向して設けられた第1ステータ12a及び第2ステータ12bとを備えたアキシャルギャップ型の電動機3の制御装置であって、第1ステータ12aの電機子巻線13aにロータ11を回転駆動する磁界を生じさせるトルク電流(Iq)を供給すると共に、第2ステータ12bの電機子巻線13bにロータ11の永久磁石による磁束を強める界磁電流(+Id)又は該磁束を弱める界磁電流(-Id)を供給する通電制御手段8を備える。これにより、アキシャルギャップ型の電動機の制御可能範囲を拡大して、アキシャルギャップ型の電動機をより高回転、高トルクで作動させることができる。
