Abstract

L'invention concerne des matériaux et des procédés permettant d'inhiber la voie AKT/PKB. Dans un mode de réalisation, un composé de l'invention inhibe l'activité de kinase et les taux de phosphorylation de protéines Akt. L'invention concerne également des procédés permettant d'inhiber ou de tuer une cellule cancéreuse ou une autre cellule dans laquelle une expression d'une protéine Akt est élevée ou constitutivement active. Les procédés comprennent la mise en contact de la cellule avec une quantité efficace d'un composé de formule I. L'invention concerne enfin des procédés de traitement du cancer ou d'une tumeur chez l'humain ou l'animal.
