Abstract

L'invention porte sur un carbonate de calcium traité en surface qui a subi un traitement de surface par un agent de traitement de surface soluble dans l'eau et, de ce fait, présente des propriétés améliorées d'absorption d'eau ; et sur un papier d'enregistrement pour impression à jet d'encre qui a une couche de réception d'encre contenant le carbonate de calcium traité en surface et qui a des propriétés élevées d'absorption d'encre et est coloré de façon satisfaisante. (1) Le carbonate de calcium traité en surface est un carbonate de calcium qui est obtenu par traitement de la surface de carbonate de calcium brut par une solution d'un agent de traitement de surface soluble dans l'eau et a une surface spécifique BET de 50-120 m2/g. (2) Le milieu d'enregistrement pour imprimante à jet d'encre comprend une base en forme de feuille et une couche de réception d'encre formée sur un ou chaque côté de celle-ci, la couche de réception d'encre contenant le carbonate de calcium traité en surface.
