Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sicherheitselement mit einer optisch variablen Struktur, die eine Prägestruktur aufweist. Bei Kippen des Sicherheitselementes um eine Achse und damit abwechselnder Betrachtung aus einem ersten und zweiten Betrachtungswinkelbereich entsteht ein Kippeffekt, der aus den beiden verschiedenen Blickwinkeln bzw. unter verschiedenen Lichteinfallswinkeln unterschiedliche Farben oder Helligkeiten zeigt. Erfindungsgemäß weist die optisch variable Struktur mindestens eine zweite Prägestruktur auf, die innerhalb der ersten Prägestruktur angeordnet ist und zusätzlich zu dem ersten Kippeffekt einen zweiten Kippeffekt erzeugt. Der zweite Kippeffekt tritt dabei entweder innerhalb des ersten oder zweiten Betrachtungswinkelbereiches oder beim Übergang vom ersten zum zweiten oder vom zweiten zum ersten Betrachtungswinkelbereich auf.
