Abstract

Le dispositif de recirculation comprend, à l'intérieur d'un conduit d'admission d'air (3) qui est suivi d'un répartiteur (6), des moyens d'introduction des gaz d'échappement recyclés, pour leur mélange avec l'air frais admis. Ce dispositif est conçu pour injecter les gaz d'échappement en formant deux tourbillons adjacents contra-rotatifs (14,15), grâce à un double embout mélangeur tubulaire (10,11) en communication avec une conduite commune d'amenée des gaz d'échappement, disposée tangentiellement par rapport aux deux embouts, placés côte à côte. Les deux tourbillons (14, 15) s'auto- entretiennent jusqu'aux sorties (7) du répartiteur (6). Un tel dispositif de recirculation s'applique, en particulier, à un conduit d'admission d'air (3) de section oblongue et/ou à un répartiteur (6) avec une entrée (5) et/ou un plénum (8) aplatis, notamment pour un moteur de véhicule automobile.
