Abstract

On vise à proposer une composition pour former une mousse de polyisocyanurate rigide ayant un excellent retard de flamme et d'excellentes propriétés mécaniques, à l'aide d'eau seule comme agent moussant; un procédé de fabrication d'une mousse de polyisocyanurate rigide expansée par l'eau à l'aide de la composition; et une mousse de polyisocyanurate rigide, expansée par l'eau, obtenue par le procédé. A cet effet, l'invention porte sur une composition pour former une mousse de polyisocyanurate rigide, expansée par l'eau, ayant un indice d'isocyanate de 350 ou plus, qui est caractérisée par l'utilisation d'un polyisocyanate organique comprenant du MDI et un condensat polynucléaire de type MDI et ayant un nombre moyen spécifique de groupes fonctionnels et un polyol comprenant un polyéther polyol.
