Abstract
バーナから離れた位置に保炎領域を形成することにより、バーナ部材の焼損を防止するとともに、保炎性能の向上により予混合気をより希薄な状態としてNOx排出レベルを低下させることのできる燃焼装置を提供する。円筒形状の側壁を有し、内側に燃焼室10を形成する燃焼筒12と、燃焼筒12の頂部12aに配置されて燃焼室12に環状の予混合気を噴射して、その予混合気流の下流部に燃焼室12の軸心Oに沿って頂部12aに向かう逆流領域Rを形成させるメインバーナ42とを備え、頂部12aに配置されて燃焼室12内の逆流領域Rに対向する方向にのみ燃料と空気の混合気を噴射するパイロットバーナ44を設ける。
