Abstract

 本発明は、LCマーカを内蔵した検知体の位置検出処理を安定して行うことができることを目的とする。本発明にかかる位置検出装置10は、複数組のドライブコイルDX,DY,DZと、複数組のドライブコイルDX,DY,DZの中からカプセル型内視鏡2内部のLCマーカ2aに磁界を印加するドライブコイルを切り替える磁界発生コイル切替部15と、ドライブコイルの選択条件に関する所定の情報を記憶する記憶部19と、制御部20とを備え、このLCマーカ2aからの誘導磁界の検出結果をもとにカプセル型内視鏡2の位置を検出する。制御部20は、この所定の情報をもとにドライブコイルの選択条件を決定し、この決定した選択条件を満足するドライブコイルを複数組のドライブコイルDX,DY,DZの中から選択し、この選択したドライブコイルに切り替えるように磁界発生コイル切替部15を制御する。
