Abstract

The present invention relates to a method of transmitting/receiving a signal and an apparatus for transmitting/receiving a signal. The present invention may include a symbol mapper demapping a first interval of symbol data of the output data in accordance with a symbol demapping method corresponding to a first symbol mapping method, scaling the demapped symbol according to a constellation size of the first symbol mapping method and outputting the scaled symbol, demapping a second interval of symbol data of the output data in accordance with a symbol demapping method corresponding to a second symbol mapping method, scaling the demapped symbol according to a constellation size of the second symbol mapping method and outputting the scaled symbol, and outputting the first bit streams and the second bit streams into one bit streams.
