Definitions

  • the invention is related to a revetment for an embankment, bank and the like, comprising revetment elements which have parallel bottom and top surfaces and which are arranged according to rows which are positioned next to each other in transverse direction, said rows each extending in longitudinal direction, each revetment element being symmetric with respect to a line of symmetry and asymmetric with respect to a line of asymmetry which is perpendicular with respect to the line of symmetry, open spaces being enclosed between subsequent revetment elements of a row and between revetment elements of neighbouring rows .
