Abstract

L'invention concerne un four de réduction statique pour la réduction d'oxydes métalliques. Le four comprend un fond et une voûte dotée de parois situées entre le fond et la voûte, un distributeur placé à proximité d'une première extrémité du four, et un collecteur placé à proximité d'une seconde extrémité du four à l'opposé de la première extrémité, conçue pour recevoir la charge d'alimentation réduite provenant du fond. Le distributeur est conçu pour la distribution d'une charge d'alimentation composée d'oxyde métallique et d'agent réducteur dans le fond pour réduire et contrôler dans quelle mesure la charge d'alimentation s'étend entre la première extrémité et la seconde extrémité du four, de façon à permettre à la charge de s'étendre au moins jusqu'au collecteur.
