Abstract
レイアウトの制約が少なく、省スペース化を実現可能な排気浄化装置を提案する。本発明に係る排気浄化装置は、酸化触媒及びPM捕集フィルタを収納した筒形の第1の筐体10と、還元触媒及びアンモニア酸化触媒を収納した筒形の第2の筐体20と、を互いの軸線10a,20aがほぼ平行となるようにして近接配置すると共に、これら両筐体の遠端部どうしを連結する連通管30を、該連通管の軸線30aが筐体の軸線10a,20aとほぼ平行となるように配管してある。そして、第1の筐体10から第2の筐体20へ至る排気の流路が連通管30により折り返され、排気中に液体還元剤を噴射するノズル31が連通管30に配設されている。
