Abstract

　調光時の発光効率を向上させると共に、光源の長寿命化が可能な調光装置及びそれを用いた照明装置を提供する。照影装置は光源１と調光装置２を備える。調光装置２は、有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子で構成された光源１に点灯用の定電流を出力する電流出力回路５と、電流出力回路５から出力される定電流を間欠的に光源１に供給することにより、光源の調光を行う調光回路６と、有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子の容量成分に充電された電荷の放電を防止する放電防止回路（ダイオード）７０を備える。
